The design
The quiet ritual of writing
Letter papers are made for the slower message: a thank-you, an invitation, a note written by hand. Chimanlals pairs each sheet with its envelope and finishes both on handmade paper.
A closer look
The border on the sheet, the band on the envelope.
Look along the foot of the sheet, then at the envelope beside it. The deep ivory lace border is printed again, narrower, as a single band on the envelope, and the small gold sprigs scattered above it stop well short of the writing area. The sheet is designed as something to write on, with the printing kept to the edges.

Every sheet is handmade paper, chosen so that a pen moves cleanly across it. The printing is kept to the borders, leaving the writing area open, and the surface keeps enough texture to feel like paper rather than card.
